21 Add-ons To WooCommerce

It’s no big secret that WordPress and WooCommerce are really big when it comes to websites and webshops. According to the BuiltWith site, 21% of all web shops in the world use Woocoomerce as a platform.

I myself use WooCommerce as an online store solution and to some affiliate projects so I give you a list of supplements I think you should have in your store.

My 21 suggestions

  1. All In One WP Security & Firewall´╗┐

Firewall and security around your site. Prevents unauthorized persons from causing damage.

  2. Autoptimize

To improve the customer experience, this add-on helps optimize the design, scripts, and fonts on the page.

  3. Booster for WooCommerce

A “Must-Have” for WooCommerce. Here you get plenty of extra features to make your store more personal. You can customize most of it only with the free version.

  4. Jetpack from WordPress.com

An add-on you should have regardless of whether you have an online store or not. It gives you extra features. The reason I have this installed is that it was required for me to be able to use the WooCommerce app on the mobile phone.

  5. Mailchimp for WooCommerce

Flexible add-on for e-mail integration. It allows you to sync data to your MailChimp account.

  6. Perfect WooCommerce Brands

If you want to show logos on your products, this is a good addition. The possibility of placing a logo or text is great.

  7. Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce

If you are going to sell through Google Shopping, this is a really good plugin. It helps you quickly and easily set up the files companies require.

  8. Rank Math SEO

Usually, I use Yoast SEO to optimize my search engine optimization but here I have tested a new player in the market.
The reason is that it has some features that Yoast doesn┬┤t have (in the free version) as more keywords redirect, more keyboard shortcuts for meta-title and description. Definitely, worth a try I think.

  9. Really Simple SSL

Today, it is necessary to have SSL on your store or website. This add-on will help you solve this without programming.

  10. Scripts-To-Footer

To increase the speed of the store when it is read by visitors and search engines, it is recommended that you put a lot of scripts in the footer. This supplement will help you with this without the need for any programming skills.

  11. UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore

Tools that back up your store to, for example, Google Drive and/or email. It can be scheduled.

  12. W3 Total Cache

It helps you improve the performance and speed of your store.

  13. WooCommerce Expand Tabs

A smooth plugin that removes the tabs on the product pages. It provides a more seamless feel especially in the mobile.

  14. WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration

Integration so you can link google analytics with your online store.

  15. WooCommerce UPC, EAN, and ISBN

Almost all products today have an EAN code or ISBN (if there are books). This will help you put this in products so it is visible in price files and on the product page.

  16. WP GDPR Compliance

This supplement will help you with GDPR. A good support tool.

  17. WP Notification Bars

This gives you the opportunity to create simple banners with information. The possibility of displaying banners for specific visitors is available, for example, discount code for those who only come via a google search engine, etc.

  18. WP Sitemap Page

This plugin creates an HTML sitemap to give visitors and search engines a good insight into your store.

  19. WP Subtitle

If you need an extra line under your title that is not H1 then this supplement is for you.

  20. WPFront Scroll Top

If your theme does not have the ability to send visitors to the top of the page then this is a plugin for that. A must if you think “mobile-first”.

  21. YITH Color and Label Variations for WooCommerce

This disables the dropdown menu for variations and allows you to have color blocks or labels as choices instead. Personally, I think this is much nicer on the mobile.

Your Favorites for WooCommerce?

Everyone has their favorites and these are mine. Today there are over 1000 extensions only on the WordPress website for WooCommerce so there is a lot to choose from. You are welcome to share with me if I missed any add-ons that one should have in an online store.
